NIJ Level IIIA Ballistics Information
Level IIIA compliant ballistic panels have been tested to stop .357 SIG and .44 Magnum ammunition fired from longer barrel handguns. They do not protect against rifle ammunition.

The FRK-360 External Carrier is made for and by first responders to meet their needs in the ever-changing dynamics of emergency services. The dual bottom-loading pockets on the carrier’s front and back can accommodate armor plates. The outer (strike face) pocket fits 10” x 12” rifle plates, while the inner (body side) pocket fits foam along with 10” x 12” speed plates, ballistic panels, or steel plates.
Additionally, external cummerbunds feature envelope style openings at the top for ballistic inserts and an elastic hook-and-loop strap system on the inside for side hard armor plates. 360° MOLLE straps throughout the carrier are ideal for carrying and accessing essential gear.
2” webbing adjustable shoulder straps with removable foam padded shoulders help ensure a comfortable fit. The back drag/man down strap makes it easy to move and assist a teammate in need. The carrier features ID placards that can be customized for easy, immediate identification and every critical mission, budget, and department need.
