The Safariland® 6390/6392/6395 ALS® Level I Retention™ duty holsters are designed for duty officers, and feature the patented ALS (Automatic Locking System), which secures the weapon immediately upon holstering and stays that way until the user deactivates the device with the thumb as the weapon is drawn in an efficient, straight-up motion.
The removable Hood Guard, an external shield over the thumb lever, provides additional safety by protecting the release mechanism against takeaway attempts. Further, this holster can be upgraded to Level II Retention™ with the optional ALS Guard.
Constructed from durable, thermoformed SafariLaminate™ material, it features a suede lining to help protect the weapon’s finish. The holster attaches to belts up to 2.25” in diameter and is offered for mid-ride, hi-ride and low-ride carry. A variety of textures and finishes make it easy to match the 6390/6392/6395 holster to any duty belt.
This open-top holster features the Automatic Locking System (ALS®), an internal locking device that retains the weapon in all directions with no straps or snaps to manipulate. Once the weapon is holstered, it locks into place. The holster is completely operable with the thumb and once the ALS is de-activated a simple straight-up draw is used. Features a mid-ride belt loop that rides close to the body, and a suede lining to protect the gun's sights and finish.
