ESS’s lightweight, durable Crowbar Ballistic Sunglasses provide a broad range of ballistic protection and an increased field of view. The incredibly light, virtually indestructible thermoplastic frame provides a balanced fit that’s compatible with hats, helmets, and hearing pro or comms gear. The sunglasses come with 2.2mm high-impact, anti-scratch polycarbonate lenses that feature ESSOPTICS™ for distortion-free clarity and provide 100% UVA/UVB protection. These lenses are available in clear, smoke gray, polarized mirrored gray, and mirrored copper tints that transmit different amounts of visible light to enhance your vision in whatever lighting conditions you encounter. The rotating Lens Gate™ allows you to quickly and easily interchange lenses. The Crowbar Sunglasses exceed U.S. MIL Spec MIL-PRF-32432, ANSI Z87.1-2010, U.S. Federal OSHA, and CE EN 166. Each Crowbar kit comes with a black Crowbar frame with ESS icons, a replacement lens pouch, a black zippered hard case, a black elastic retention strap, a black microfiber cleaning pouch, and one ESS sticker.

• Crowbar kits feature the following tinted lenses:
  • Clear lenses transmit 90% of visible light. They are for use indoors or at night, and have no influence on contrast or color.
  • Smoke gray lenses transmit 15% of visible light. They are for use in medium to bright light conditions, and are an all-purpose daytime lens with an unbiased influence on color.
  • Polarized mirrored gray lenses transmit 9% of visible light. They are for use in reflecting intense, blinding sunlight and light from reflective surfaces, are the most effective lenses for cutting glare, and have no influence on contrast or color.
  • Mirrored copper lenses transmit 23% of visible light. They are for use in flat to bright light conditions, improve contrast and depth perception in blues and greens, and reflect glare.
